Context
The bake sale is wrapping up and the four women are clearing up their stalls. Mae is gutted that she didn't wait to sell her pie to the man she really wanted to offer it to, instead of giving in to another. All of the women have different philosophies about how to sell their baked goods but, ultimately, Julia, Dana, and Mae all agree that Lila is too free with her cookies. The women's chat reflects differing opinions on the choices women make with their bodies, as well as their baked goods.

LILA (COOKIES) Are you alright?
MAE (PIE) Fine.
Mae angrily shoves things into her bag.
LILA (COOKIES) You don't seem fine.
MAE (PIE) This is your fault. If you hadn't been selling your cheap cookies, and givin' away samples to everybody, I wouldn't have dropped my price. I would have got full price!
LILA (COOKIES) I didn't make you do anything!
